How to secure a wire with an aluminum can. We use what is at hand
Faced with the negative of some readers when using improvised materials. Their motto is - everything can be bought! And if you can't, doesn't it remind you of anything? Okay, just let me remind you a couple of ways to attach a wire, antenna or Internet cable using an aluminum can.
The first way
I cut the can into two parts, then cut the strips, they will be clamps, for clarity I will fasten them with self-tapping screws with a press washer to a wooden rail.
I put the material into the strip, began to squeeze, cut off the excess at the first attempt, but then decided not to do this, but simply fold it compactly and press it.
Everything worked out, but the plates may burst upon repeated bending, the material turned out to be fragile, for such a crimp it is better to use strips from a tin, can.
Second way
It is much simpler and more reliable, the plate will not burst, and it holds more reliably.
To do this, I made a simple loop, and fixed it with a self-tapping screw, the compressed loop fixes the cable well, allowing it to be pulled. From the pros, that the material is waste and less exposed to ultraviolet radiation than plastic clamps. It is clear that special fasteners are easier to install, but this old-fashioned way also has the right to life.
