How to clean a heavily burnt stainless steel pan. A simple way that helped me out.
Nobody is insuredfromsuchannoying oversight when cooking, like sticking food to a saucepan.
And most often the point here is not even professionalism, but forgetfulness.
So I, through my own carelessness, "cooked soup" 6 o'clock !!!Well at least the fire didn't happen in the middle of the night.
View of the pan from stainless steel after such cooking was deplorable.
To be honest, I didn't even hope to save her, but decided to try. What came of this, we will consider below.
Get rid of the burnt layer of food on the inner surface of the pan decided withusing available toolsthat are always in the house.
Important! Stainless steel potcan't wash using a steel wool, as small scratches remain on its walls.
I decided to start boil in a saucepan water.
He poured one and a half liters of water into it and put it on medium heat.
After 15 minutesboiling began to depart from the bottom of the pan in pieces burnt food residues. But as it turned out, not all.
After I drained the water from the pan, it became clear that
in my case, it is not so easy to cope with the burnt layer of food.I decided to save the pot further and again poured 1.5 liters of water into it.
After the water has boiled, added 2 tablespoons of citric acid.
And left the resulting solution to boil within 20 minutes.
Important! When you pour citric acid into boiling water, foam instantly forms, this must be taken into account.
After the solution cooled down, he wiped the inside walls of the pan with a dishwashing sponge and rinsed it with running water.
To be honest, I did not expect such a result.. The pan gleamed like new!
