Folk dressing of Honeysuckle, which Grandmother told me. Double your harvest without any hassle

Not surprisingly, our grandmothers' recipes give good results. They have been tested over the years, worked out to the smallest detail. My grandparents were very fond of the garden, which was just teeming with lots of shrubs and trees. Honeysuckle also yielded a good harvest; they began to fertilize it in early spring.

Spring feeding

Honeysuckle is a rather capricious plant, so you can't fertilize it with anything. She loves organic fertilizers, and can die from mineral fertilizers. The wrong dosage will lead to the complete destruction of the crop.

In the spring, the plant is fed two weeks before flowering. Usually these are the first days of April. At this time, the plant begins to actively feed on substances that are in the ground. At the beginning of spring, phosphorus and nitrogen fertilizers are used.

First, root feeding is carried out. To do this, dilute 25-30 g of nitrogen in a bucket of water. It will help the plant form deciduous mass, grow new branches. Phosphorus will help strengthen the roots. It is diluted in an amount of 20 g in a bucket of water.

From above the bush is sprayed with a nitrogen solution. To do this, 25-30 g of the substance is diluted in 10 liters of water.

If the plant is young, then it should be fertilized with superphosphate. 100 g of the substance is diluted in a bucket of water. One bush will require a liter of fertilizer.

A plant over 3 years old must be pruned. So that it can build up green mass, a complex fertilizer is used.

A bucket of water will require:

50 g of saltpeter;

60 g superphosphate;

45 g of potassium salt.

To increase the yield, urea is added. Pour 20 g of the substance under the bush. In no case should the plant be left unattended, it will die without sufficient water. Therefore, if the spring is dry, the honeysuckle is watered once a week.

Grandma's method

After testing several fertilizers, my grandmother settled on ammonium sulfate. She began to fertilize the plant with it during bud opening. She diluted 40 g of the substance in a bucket of water and poured it under the bush.

According to her, ammonium sulfate helps shoots and yields.

She fertilized honeysuckle 2 times a month until July. After that, she only watered the plant, removed the weeds. She began to produce subsequent fertilizing in the fall. This time, I applied 15 g of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to a depth of 10 cm.

By the way, you can buy excellent varieties of honeysuckle without leaving your home in the popular online seed store. If anyone needs it, then here link (clickable). I bought there myself last year.

I often use my grandmother's advice and fertilizer recipes on my plot and in the garden. They never disappoint me, vegetables and fruits always give a bountiful harvest.
