Is it worth waiting for summer if you can carry out general cleaning now? 5 easy steps
Falling on our heads self-isolation can be perceived in different ways. Someone complains about boredom and seclusion, while someone, on the contrary, is trying to "remake" everything that was previously completely impossible they had enough time and energy: they play with children, learn languages, write books, cook... and, of course, they put things in order at home! Well, why not, especially since summer is just around the corner!
Good afternoon dear friends!
And in our current situation, when the time is "a car and a small cart", God himself commanded. The only, ordinary general cleaning is a rather boring, time-consuming activity that can draw all our strength out of us during the day. Maybe then you should approach this issue in a different way and try to distribute the cleaning of the house over several days. Dedicating each new day to one specific event, for example, washing windows or cleaning winter clothes! And in order to make it easier for you to draw up such a step-by-step plan for putting things in order in your house, I have prepared this mini-instruction.
Which and will help you to prepare your home for the long-awaited summer within 5 days.
1.The first day. Let there be sun! Let's start with the windows, on which dirt, dust, grease accumulated for six months. First, remove the curtains and send them to the washing machine on fast setting. Then we start washing the window frames with warm soapy water (or a special detergent) and glass directly, not forgetting about the windowsill, and about the low tide, and, of course, about the mosquito grid.
By the time you finish washing all the windows in the apartment, the curtains will have already been washed. All that remains is to hang them up! At the same time, since we hang the curtains immediately after washing, there is no need to iron them. Actually, that's it! This one step will be enough to recharge with positive energy and feel the approach of summer. Go ahead!
2.Second day. Away from the cold! It's time to remove bulky things: warm outerwear (coats, hats, scarves, etc.), winter shoes, seasonal textiles (blankets, rugs, bedspreads). Replace flannel bedding, preferring light, airy fabrics of bright color.
As a result, you will not only put things in order in the house, freeing up a "bunch" of space in the rooms, but also bring juicy, summer colors into your updated interior.
3.Day three. Less junk! Many quick-cleaning techniques called fly-lady use the interesting term “litter”. It means getting rid of unnecessary, old and inconvenient things as much as possible. We will deal with littering in the third stage!
To do this, take the package and walk through the rooms. Identify those things that are on your shelves, in closets and bedside tables for months, unclaimed and unnecessary, just collecting dust. Put them in a bag and then sort them. Perhaps it's time to throw away some of them, and some can be gifted to friends or even sold, earning some money!
4.Day four. Dust go away! After the previous point, namely littering, you can get rid of dust with peace of mind. Start cleaning from above: first wipe with a damp cloth the tops of cabinets, cupboards, wall shelves, and then move on to the “low” furniture: tables, bedside tables ...
To complete the "fight" with dust, walk along the side surfaces of your furniture.
5.Day five. Operation "Clean House"! All dust that has settled down when cleaning furniture is removed last. And before this step "wash" the walls (walking with a damp cloth over them), we wipe the doors and baseboards, and of course, do not forget about the door handles and switches!
There is little left to do - the floor! Take a little more time than usual. Move all the pieces of furniture on your way to reach the most hidden corners of the house. Then vacuum the floor thoroughly, then wipe it down with a damp cloth. Done! Now your home is 100% ready for the arrival of the longed-for summer!
