Everything was normal for more than 11 months (a year guarantee) and now, I threw my clothes into the wash a couple of days ago, and my Indesit does not draw water and does not start the wash. I thought I should wait, but 5, 10, 15 minutes have passed - silence, only blinking eyes. I had to urgently look for instructions, study, try everything, which is advised, but it did not help. And I really didn't want to climb inside, but still could not resist.

It was on the example of this machine that I recently showed:

To be honest, I did not take any pictures, I had no time for that, since it was not clear where the breakdown was, how to look for it and whether it would be possible to do it. Along the way, I had to review a dozen videos on the Indesites and accept the fact - SOMETHING COVERED.

The warranty still did not stop, it was useful to look for the probable causes of the breakdown

1. I checked if the water supply tap was closed and if it was working properly.

Disconnected the hose from the tap, turned on the water - it goes, then the problem is not here.

2. Unscrewed the hose on the other side, on the machine body. It also turned out to be all right.

3. From the branch pipe sticking out of the body, he pulled a strainer with pliers. It can be seen when the hose is unscrewed. It was necessary to check if it was clogged with sand, pebbles, etc. But since in front of the machine standscoarse filter, was sure that this was not the case, which turned out to be true.

1. Not without difficulty, he removed the top cover and checked the condition of the intake valves. For testing, I used a wire with a plug plugged into a 220V outlet. The ends of the live wire were connected in turn to the terminals of both valves that were freed from the wires. Both water inlet valves turned out to be working - they hummed equally well, which showed that there was no problem in this unit.

2. He touched and pulled the pressure switch. It would be necessary, of course, to take his own pipe off him and blow it with another pipe, but he did not. For some reason, it seemed unnecessary, especially since problems with the pressure switch are extremely rare.

3. I checked the condition of the brushes on the electric motor. To do this, I laid the machine on its side so that there was access to the engine from below and in this position unscrewed the brushes with a spanner wrench with a bat, since even a short screwdriver did not fit. The brushes are intact, it seemed only that one was wedging, so I developed it a little and put both in place.

I collected everything back, plugged it in in the hope and ...

One more test - and again nothing good.

In general, I gave up this business, unplugging the power cord from the outlet and went about other business. But then around midnight I was drawn to the "assistant" again. I wanted to check something else.

This time, he turned on the machine as usual (and things and powder remained inside all this time), pressed the start and she still buzzed, but somehow unusual. Then I quickly glanced at the supply tap, realized that it was still closed and turned on the water. To my surprise, the water went and exactly 24.00 washing started. But time did not matter anymore. The main thing is EARNED!

Later I remembered one piece of advice from the videos I watched that sometimes the electronics freeze and the machine should not just be turned off, but pulled out of the socket for the whole day. This will help it completely discharge and reset all errors.
