An unexpected problem

Since I had a minimum of a tool with me, I had to twist out, a copper sleeve was at hand, which I flattened with pliers and broke into two parts.

I drilled holes in them, moved the decorative plastic, and in turn glued them to its back walls so that the holes coincided, then fixed the counterplate with self-tapping screws for metal. Fu, it turned out, killed a lot of time, but got out. Then he took up the pen, everything turned out fine.
