Completed a modest renovation in an old one-room apartment - Before and after photos
The one-room apartment was purchased on the secondary market. The family did not dare to repair for a long time. This time, the owner decided to put an end to this mess: repair work began immediately.
It is noteworthy that the spouses did not use design services, they developed the entire design independently. The result exceeded all expectations.
The first room to be handed out was the kitchen. The useful area is quite compact, and the repair work did not take much time. Light, cream tones were chosen for the main color composition, they create the impression of comfort and warmth.
The old furniture was replaced with a new one: a modular kitchen, a dining set. Despite the small space, the owners managed to create two useful locations: a cooking area and a dining area.
In terms of functionality, everything is convenient: the kitchen is located along the wall and does not take up much space. Household appliances in a minimal set. The floor is made of ceramic tiles, it has strict geometric patterns.
The main room has several functions: a bedroom and a living room at the same time. Light cream color. The design completely coincides with the concept of the kitchen, which will give the whole apartment a unique aura of color unity.
Everything is quite simple and concise: the urban style is chosen, it presupposes the presence of modern furniture and modern finishing materials. The main idea is realized in this room: practicality. An excellent solution was the installation of a sliding wardrobe, it has huge panoramic mirrors in the floor.
The plumbing unit got its new life: the old materials were completely removed, they had an unsightly appearance, the plumbing was replaced with a new one from the middle price category. The walls of the toilet and bathroom are lined with ceramic tiles: intricate, but unobtrusive patterns, well diluted with plain white.
Critics may say that everything is very simple, but in this case there was no need to use expensive tiles. Task number one: make quality, inexpensive repairs.
In conclusion, I would like to note: the guys were not afraid of their idea, they just took and did what they dreamed of for many years.
