Here's what you can do with old tires and hubcaps
Greetings to the readers of the Kulibin channel. Today I want to introduce you to one little-known, but very unique artist who creates brilliant masterpieces of art from ordinary rubbish.
I think that this Ptolemy Elrington deserves a little talk about him. There is not so much information on the Internet, but I have collected the most interesting. The author himself is from the United States and it was there that he graduated from college in his creative profession. He studied sculpture, woodcarving, clay modeling, and many related disciplines.
In fact, he is a full-fledged artist, as he creates unique things from trash. Ptolemy, by his convictions, is an ardent supporter of the "green world" and advocates the protection of nature and ecology in general.
He was an activist for many organizations that pretended to be fighting for a clean environment, but very much quickly became disillusioned with them, since beyond rallies, pickets and collective appeals to the powers that be went on.
Ptolemy decided to take action on his own. Immediately after graduating from college, he went to live in India, where trash and garbage are a daily problem for most of the country's inhabitants. No wonder India is called the world dump.
It was there that the author began to create his sculptures. In his work, he mainly uses old tires, hubcaps and rims. He collects this garbage in landfills, on streets, in rivers and small bodies of water.
With his sculptures, he tries to convey to humanity that with our industrial overproduction we are killing the environment. That is why all his works reflect the representatives of the fauna.
That's all. Agree that he turns out very beautifully. I sincerely envy his imaginations and golden hands.
