An excellent and cheap remedy that increases the yield of black currant several times
Blackcurrant is a favorite berry in my family, every season I spin dozens of cans of compotes and jam from it, freeze in full trays and bags. But at the same time, very few of its bushes grow on the site.
The tool that I used to process blackcurrant bushes several times a season costs almost nothing, its recipe is extremely simple, but it allows you to harvest an abundant delicious harvest every year.
We are talking about potato peelings. The same rubbish that many owners are used to just throwing away!
According to research by scientists, potatoes are extremely useful not only for humans, but also for other plants. Because it contains starch, amino acids and many vitamins with minerals.
The yield of currants is increased in particular due to the fact that potatoes help to strengthen the plant's immunity, enhances the processes of photosynthesis occurring in it, stimulates its ability to assimilate nutrients from others fertilizers.
In addition to the volume of the harvest, its quality also improves - the berries are large, surprisingly sweet, ripen together and do not crumble.
To prepare an amazing potato remedy, you need:
· Fill the tank with potato peel, moreover, it must be washed from contamination;
· Fill the cleaning with water in an amount equal to them in volume;
· Cover the container with a lid and leave to infuse in a warm place for 3-4 weeks.
Then the solution must be filtered and diluted with clean water in proportions of 1:10.
Then it remains just to water the currant bushes with them at the root, spending 1 bucket of funds for each plant.
During the season, I carry out potato dressings in this order:
· The first - in the spring, immediately after swelling of the buds, when the appearance of leaves is expected;
· The second - with the beginning of flowering;
· The third - during the formation of berry ovaries.
And I want to emphasize that this product is absolutely environmentally safe for humans and the environment!
In order for the currant to fully absorb all the valuable elements from it, it must be poured under the bushes immediately after the main watering with clean water, the rate of which is halved.
Then you should gently loosen the soil - making it easier for the root system to breathe and cover the ground with mulch so that the potato solution remains in it longer and nourishes the bushes.
