But in order for your house to grow wiser, you need to carry out a complete replacement of electrical appliances. In this article, I want to tell you about one gadget with which almost any device can be made smart.
What is Fingerbot
So, Fingerbot is a compact robotic gadget that can press or switch buttons through a special remote server.
And, probably, from the name you have already understood that this is, by and large, a “finger” with a remote control. And its main purpose is to modernize your usual electronic devices and make them smart at minimal cost.
How the device works
So, in essence, this gadget is a small box in which a battery, a drive and an external manipulator rod are hidden. And the principle of its operation is actually outrageously simple:
The gadget is mounted, for example, near the light switch in the bedroom, and then, through a special application, you can control the gadget and thus turn the light on and off.
Interchangeable manipulators are also provided, with which you can significantly expand the capabilities device and switch the touch switches, depress keys and change positions levers.
Also, according to the developers, their gadget has low power consumption and, with moderate use on a single charge, the Fingerbot can last up to six months.
Where and how much you can buy this gadget
So, at present this device has not entered the large market and is undergoing a stage of tests, but the approximate prices are already known. So, the device itself will cost about $ 29 per unit.
Replaceable arms will be supplied for a fee and will cost $ 10 per kit. And if you wish, you can buy an Adaprox Bridge kit (capable of controlling several Fingerbot devices at once) for $ 40.
The start of sales, if nothing changes, is scheduled for late May - early June 2020.
Of course, according to our money (if translated into rubles), the gadget is quite expensive. But if you compare with the prices of smart devices, then the "smart finger" does not seem so expensive.
