Rogue: adapter from socket to socket from light bulb and old socket

As promised, after buying a soldering iron undertook to usefully attach to the case the second time the LED-lamp burns out. Moreover, for a long time I was going to do adapter from socket to socket in case the facility has nowhere to connect the power tool. Experienced people call such a thing a "swindler", since there was a time when people with its help more than once got out of a difficult situation.

The light bulb must first be disassembled: separate the plafond with a knife, remove the ring above the plate with diodes, pick out the plate itself and pull out the insides. Leave only the bulb body.

In the case drills for metal 2 and 3 mm I drilled two holes: one on the bottom on the base 2mm, and the second on the side 3mm, above the very top of the thread. I brought small pieces of electrical wire through the holes and soldered them brand new soldering iron, such as below on the Market:

Then I prepared the socket part. Dismantled two unnecessary sockets: Soviet and Turkish. From one I took the ceramic insides, and from the other - the lid. Since the ceramics almost fit the size of the light bulb, I had to grind it a little with a grinder and twist the terminals.

When I was convinced that the insides of the outlet were flush with the edges of the light bulb, I proceeded to connect the soldered wires to the contacts. Then he neatly hid the wires, put the ceramics in the center of the light bulb and aligned them in a plane.

At the next stage, I filled the socket with hot glue in a circle and allowed it to cool for 5-7 minutes. It keeps inside the light bulb very securely. After that, I screwed on the decorative cover on top and added hot melt glue in those places where the cover does not cover the light bulb.

It was possible, of course, to pick up a socket with a round cover, but the goal was to make it exactly from what was available. So do not judge strongly.

As always, after the completion of the work, the craft was tested and I can assure you that it showed its best side. It is very convenient, there are no complaints and is now waiting for its first call for testing in combat conditions.

Since the inside of the lamp body is made of good aluminum, I think this thing will still serve, and if it falls a couple of times, it will not harm it.
