Why buy a new kitchen when you can repaint an old one so cool. Photo was / is now
Kitchen renovation is expensive. Of course, the final cost depends on the materials and design used, but, nevertheless, not everyone can afford to update the interior often.
In addition to the cost, it is worth considering the fact that for some time the family will have to live without a kitchen and adapt other rooms for these purposes.
Our today's heroine has been making a kitchen for a long time, but she chose the most fashionable, at that time, kitchen set and high-quality household appliances. Everything was done nicely and comfortably.
This kitchen was before repainting:
Over time, the woman, only, once again made sure that she made the right choice. She was completely satisfied with the design and arrangement of the lockers. The only flaw she began to notice was the color of the kitchen unit.
Firstly, for so many years he was very tired, and secondly, modern examples of kitchen design are made in light colors, sometimes with the addition of bright accents.
The light design looks neat and fresh, it feels like fresh air is walking around the room.
In general, the hostess decided to make a new one from the old kitchen by repainting the facades. For this, white and blue chalk paints were used. The top row was made white, the bottom one blue.
Kitchen after repainting:
Considering that white cabinets against the background of a light shade of the walls are almost invisible, it turned out to visually increase the space of an already large kitchen. Of course, the hob, oven and hood were replaced.
Old copies have already served their time. The countertop was made light beige, and the sink was chosen in the same color. The kitchen apron was trimmed with small tiles with an ornament. We also replaced the lamps and some decorative elements, got rid of the old trash.
We put new furniture in the dining area.
Despite minor changes, the kitchen looks completely different. The dark brown wooden facades do not look at all, it is not surprising that the hostess wanted to change the color of the decoration so radically. White in combination with blue looks neat and festive.
Complemented by an original apron, the design resembles an oriental setting. The blue color itself is very beautiful, one might say magical, and the white shade sets it off and complements it well.
You can always try repainting the furniture if you are planning a renovation. The alteration will cost a penny, and a successful result, perhaps, will save you from a full repair.
