Modest renovation of our apartment - a little brightness was added to the scandi interior
Today the Scandinavian style is one of the most popular in interior design. Firstly, it is perfect for small-sized and spacious rooms, and secondly, it can be diluted with other shades.
The couple decided to move away from the usual standards of scandi design, they supplemented the light interior with gray and bright details.
In the kitchen, a corner kitchen was installed with white upper cabinets and lower cabinets with wooden facades. To decorate the kitchen apron, a rectangular gray "hog" tile was used.
Compact models of modern household appliances and a beige sink made of artificial stone fit perfectly into the design of the kitchen set. The plastered walls were painted with gray paint, the floor was covered with laminate.
A gray-colored sofa and an orange armchair were placed in the living room, a wooden table was placed between them.
A TV has been hung on the opposite wall, underneath is a light wood cabinet. The walls were also painted gray, the window was covered with translucent white tulle and burgundy curtains.
The floor in the hallway was finished with wood-like tiles, the walls were also painted with dark gray paint, this shade highlights the white doors.
A neat beige table with open shelves was installed in a small bathroom, into which a washbasin was installed. A washing machine was installed under the table. A classic white toilet was placed in front of the door, a bath was placed to the right of the entrance.
The walls in this room were finished with white square tiles, complementing the design with horizontal stripes of red, gray and blue shades made of rectangular tiles.
The interior design is harmonious and complete. Simple design saves space as much as possible. The repairs were quite inexpensive for the spouses, which is good news.
This is an example of how the Scandinavian style looks in a different color scheme. The white shade has been replaced with gray, but it still looks pretty cool.
