What should be put in the holes when planting pepper and tomato seedlings.

So the time has come for vigorous activity in the garden. The grown seedlings are already ready for transplantation to a permanent residence. But it should be remembered that young seedlings are very delicate and do not always easily tolerate transplanting.

In order for peppers and tomatoes to quickly take root in a new place and then give an excellent harvest, it is necessary to provide plants with nutrients that contribute to active growth.

Like most garden crops, tomatoes and peppers require special fertilizers to grow healthy. In addition to this point, you should pay close attention to the soil in which tomatoes and peppers will grow.

These vegetables prefer neutral soil with moderate acidity. If the soil in your garden is acidic, tomatoes and peppers will grow very poorly and give a weak harvest of fruits.

You can deoxidize the soil with lime or dolomite flour, which are introduced into the soil in the fall. And of course, do not forget about the autumn fertilization of the beds. Some people fertilize the soil only in spring, but this is not entirely correct.

Also in late autumn, compost is laid on the beds, which is dug up in the spring. But in everything one must observe the measure. This also applies to fertilization.

And now let's move on specifically to the moment when the holes are dug, and the seedlings are waiting for their turn to take their proper place in the beds.

First, stock up on wood ash in advance, which is one of the most essential fertilizers for gardeners. About 100 grams of ash should be added to each well.

Secondly, onion skins are an effective and completely inexpensive fertilizer, which should be harvested a few months before planting. Place a handful of husks in each hole.
Third, buy superphosphate from the store and add one teaspoon of this fertilizer to the well.

You can also prepare the following top dressing, which is very effective:
Based on a ten-liter bucket of water, you need to take several granules of potassium permanganate, 10-15 g of dry yeast (one bag), 2 tablespoons of sugar and 500 g of wood ash.

Mix everything thoroughly and put in a warm place for one day. Add the prepared solution to the wells, 200 grams each.
After ten days, you can prepare a fresh solution and feed the tomatoes and peppers again.
