What can not be fertilized with Cucumbers, otherwise you may be left without a Harvest at all

All gardeners know that in order to get a rich cucumber harvest for seasonal dishes and winter preparations, you need to work hard.

And like many farmers, I spared nothing for the cucumbers, generously fertilized everyone in the hope that the new recipe would be incredibly effective!

But more than once it happened that the cucumbers did not bear fruit at all due to my experiments. And today, taught by my own experience, I can share a list of what is contraindicated to fertilize cucumbers!

Ammonia

This is a very complex tool, ambiguously perceived by garden crops. I often find advice that ammonia in the form of root dressing stimulates the growth of cucumbers.

And indeed it is! Even on poor soil, they begin to grow rapidly after it. But soon the positive effect is replaced by a negative one. Leaves droop, curl.

And the fruits of the cucumbers themselves ripen deformed, tough, many cavities are found in them and they taste terribly bitter, moreover, not only at the tail, but the whole vegetable!

Horse dung

Based on personal experience, I use fresh horse manure for the autumn preparation of the area for cucumbers, applying about 5 kg of fertilizer per square meter.

The second time I bring in manure during the spring digging, which is necessarily rotted. But I never use fresh horse-keeping product so that it comes into direct contact with cucumbers!

The fact is that, unlike cow dung, horse manure contains an increased amount of ammonia, which is why cucumbers accumulate nitrates.

Harmful to the life of the culture itself and definitely not useful to humans.

Tomato stepchildren

The cut green mass of tomatoes does not disappear from me - I prepare remedies for pests and diseases, nutritious infusions from it. But since tomatoes cannot even be planted next to cucumbers, then, naturally, I do not use the means from their greenery.

The fact is that from a biological point of view, such processing, especially multiple treatments, reduces the immunity of cucumbers.

That is, they become more vulnerable to diseases, as well as recover worse after attacks of pests and even much less adapt to changes in climate.

In principle, only these three dressings are really harmful for cucumbers, and they perceive everything else very positively.
