We make a mobile bed from old gas cylinders

Hello to all readers of the Kulibins channel, we have come to you with an overview of another interesting homemade product. As always, without the opening lyrics, we come straight to the analysis. Today we will make a mobile flower bed from old gas cylinders, which we found on the second-hand shop.

This is how the flowerbed looks in the finished version on wooden supports.

We found two gas cylinders for manufacturing, which have long served their time. You can use any other metal container, such as old beer kegs.

Further in the slides we show the entire set of tools and materials that you need to make a flower bed. Including a special protective coating for wood in the form of a spray and black metal paint.

Further, the process is clear, we cut the cylinders in half to get two containers for flower beds. In the bottom of the flower bed, we must make drainage holes to drain excess water.

Now we use a wooden beam to make stands for flower beds. For such a container, it is enough to have only two supports and it will not go anywhere.

Next, we show in the slides the process of how to transfer the honor of the balloon circumference to the timber. After marking, we cut out our semicircle with an electric jigsaw, or whatever you have there.

Naturally, the edges of the cut need to be well processed first with a file to remove large chips, and then it is better to clean it with sandpaper.

At the end, we try on our wooden supports to the bed, make sure that the bed does not stagger and, if necessary, adjust it exactly to the surface. You can additionally fill a strip of rubber on a wooden support at the place where the metal tank is installed.

We will not describe the painting process further. It is clear that the surface of the metal must be degreased, it can be primed and then painted. For the inner surface of the bed, it is better to apply several layers of paint, since it will be most susceptible to corrosion.

We proceed to disembark. We fill in the earth and plant the plants in our new mobile bed. Here, choose the type of flowers and the composition of the soil yourself, as well as the color of the garden itself.

This is the kind of beauty you get in the end. And by the way, we cover the wooden bases with a protective compound so that they serve as long as possible.

The mobile garden bed is designed for outdoor use, but if you get it very nice, why not put them in the room, especially when it's cold outside?
