Repair is not cheap. For the sake of additional savings, some have to carry out finishing work on their own, and sometimes even assemble furniture. It's good when one of the family members knows how to do this, otherwise the process can be delayed.
A married couple made repairs in the kitchen on their own. The spouse is engaged in construction, so it was not difficult for him.
Kitchen before renovation:
The guys changed the decoration of the walls in the room, installed a new kitchen set, but a couch and a dining they decided to leave the table, these pieces of furniture were bought not so long ago and matched to the planned design interior.
The blue tiles and purple paint on the walls were replaced with pale yellow, the dining area was highlighted with wallpaper with a geometric pattern.
The work surface is illuminated by halogens with black shades, an additional lighting device in the form of a pendant lamp was hung above the table.
After renovation:
Instead of the old kitchen with gray wooden facades, a modern kitchen set in a light shade was installed. The refrigerator was placed near the window and hidden by the facades. A special niche was made for the microwave in the top row of cabinets.
To the left of the front door, the upper part of the wall was left empty; in this part, only a white hood was installed. The corrugation in this place does not look very aesthetically pleasing.
The kitchen apron was trimmed with a cream-colored panel. The wooden countertop looks quite aesthetically pleasing in combination with the overall design of the kitchen set. The white oven and hob fit perfectly into the interior.
The color and design of the kitchen corner and dining table create completeness and laconic design. The window was covered with translucent white organza tulle, the material occupies the entire width of the wall.
The simple and light design visually increased the space. Previously, the room looked cluttered, the excess of various shades overloaded the interior, the free space above the upper cabinets was not used.
Everything was somehow dull, but, as a result of urgent work, the couple managed to make a beautiful and modern kitchen.
