How do I feed Pears in June and get large and, most importantly, Sweet fruits

click fraud protection

For the full growth and development of pears, for their active fruiting, it is necessary to periodically feed the fruit trees with the nutrients they need.

In particular, fertilization in the first summer month is of great importance for pear productivity. The choice of feeding at this time must be approached very thoroughly, taking into account the needs of the tree.

My pear harvest is always outstanding - the fruits grow large, sweet and fragrant. And one simple but very effective top dressing, which I traditionally apply in June, helps me in this.

I will be happy to tell you about this miracle fertilizer, maybe you will follow my example.

Chemical or natural remedies?

I am an ardent opponent of the use of chemicals in the garden. In particular, I think that during the period of fruit formation and ripening, any kind of "chemistry" is prohibited.

In this regard, for feeding pears in June, I use only natural remedies.

In a practical way, I have established one, in my opinion, the most effective fertilizer for these trees, which is absolutely harmless and at the same time contributes to the improvement of qualitative and quantitative characteristics harvest. We are talking about ordinary wood ash.

Ash benefits

Wood ash has the richest chemical composition, which includes about 70 different chemical components. This fertilizer is of particular value for pears because it contains high concentration of phosphorus, potassium, calcium, so necessary for the full formation of fruits and their ripening.

But nitrogen is contained in ash in a minimal amount, which is just as good, since at this stage of development this component is not needed in the pear.

Features of making

Wood ash, as a fertilizer for pears, can be applied both in dry form and in the form of a liquid solution. I like the second option more, and I only use it.

This is due to the fact that liquid fertilizers are absorbed faster and better by the plant. To prepare the infusion, dilute 200 grams of wood ash with three liters of hot water and leave for several hours.

Next, the infusion is filtered and diluted in a bucket of water. I use the finished fertilizer for watering pear trees, spending an average of two liters of infusion per tree. Before feeding, trees should be watered abundantly with plain water.

Wood ash, introduced in June as a top dressing for pears, will enrich fruit trees with the necessary components and help grow a rich harvest of tasty and ripe fruits.
