Is it worth overpaying for a brand when buying an air conditioner
Another summer ahead and the question arose about buying an air conditioner. We do not earn a lot of money to spend about 30-50 thousand rubles on it. rubles. Our house is large, about 100 sq. m., so we were talking about an air conditioner with a capacity of at least 12. At the same time, I would not like to get into the saying: "The miser pays twice."
As a result, we rushed between the promoted brands, such as Samsung or LG, and cheaper counterparts from unknown manufacturers. The price, by the way, varied by an order of magnitude. On the advice of friends, we settled on the Haier air conditioner model HSU-12HTL103. We bought it for 24,500 rubles.
For themselves, they determined its merits:
· Adequate cost;
· Availability of modes: cold, heat, drying;
· Option "turbo", which allows you to instantly cool the room;
· "Quiet" option, providing silent work.
In addition to the basic functions, the unit has many additional ones. Among them: sleep, timer, blinds and more. To be honest, we only tried them on the day we installed the air conditioner. During operation, we do not use these options.
This model has a "heath" option. What it is, we found out after the purchase. It turns out that these English words mean ionization. By design, pressing this button will:
· Antibacterial effect;
· Elimination of unpleasant odors;
· Air purification from unfavorable chemical compounds.
I do not know if this is true or cheating by manufacturers, but I use this function periodically. I would like to believe in the miracle and technology of the 21st century.
We were satisfied with the purchase. The air conditioner fully copes with its task. Cools well, with prolonged use the coolness is felt throughout the house. We tried to turn on the heat and were also completely satisfied with its work. I don't know what else people need to be happy. Friends have the same air conditioner for several years without breakdowns. Therefore, I see no reason to overpay for the brand.
