We make a modular flower bed for a house of concrete

Greetings dear readers, I am giving you another homemade product for decorating your home or summer cottage. Today we will make modular-type cement pots for small flowers, so that you can make any beautiful composition out of them or use them separately.

In one of the options, our modular flower bed will look something like the photo.

For example, I show other options for a modular flower bed. There can be as many modules as you enter, paint them in different colors and weird what your heart desires))

Now let's get down to making this beauty. We take a regular cardboard packaging box and cut out blanks from it, as shown in the photo. It is advisable to make a template in advance so that everyone is the same. We will use these forms as external formwork for pouring concrete.

Now watch closely. At the bottom of the form, we install three legs made of the same cardboard and glue them. These feet will remain in the mold for the drainage holes when pouring the concrete. The height of the leg - this will be the thickness of the bottom of the slide and the legs themselves are set at a distance from the bend line.

Now we glue the shape and this is what we should get. In the photo below.

Now we are preparing a solution, cement with fine gravel. You can pour it without gravel, but with pebbles the shape turns out to be more beautiful.

First of all, fill the bottom of the pot to the level of the installed paper legs as shown in the photo.

We do not wait for the cement to harden, we immediately install the internal formwork and fill the pot walls as in the photo. We install the internal formwork so that the drainage holes remain open.

After the concrete has set, the paper formwork can be removed.

This is what the drainage holes on the bottom of the pot will look like. If you plan to install such a modular flower bed in the house on a table, then you do not need to make drainage holes so that water does not pour out onto the furniture.

Your product is ready. You can paint the whole dot or paint only the top end. Here already show your imagination.

Then we fill up the soil, plant flowers and enjoy the beauty.
