Zucchini are often found in summer cottages and private plots. But many gardeners complain about the presence of barren flowers and rotting of the ovaries. The first ones may not be tied due to the heat, the flowers fall off. Also, as a result of waterlogging, the ovaries begin to rot.

Barren flowers (male flowers) live for a short time, they quickly fade and fall off. There are many of them on the plant, if you overfeed the zucchini with nitrogen fertilizers. Plants begin to fatten.

In this case, you need to stop feeding with green fertilizer and pour the ash solution under the root (1 liter can of the substance per 10 liters of water). Additionally, you can treat with a solution on a sheet.

The use of green fertilizer or mullein leads to acidification of the soil, which also contributes to the formation of a large number of barren flowers. Therefore, you need to stop watering with this organic matter.

Lime or dolomite flour will help deoxidize the soil (ash also deacidifies a little). I mainly use the latter. I dilute a glass of the substance with 10 liters of water and water it at the root. Lime will need 0.5 kg per 1 sq. meter.

To get a lot of ovaries, you can use boric acid in an amount of 5 grams, which must first be diluted in hot water and poured into a bucket of room temperature water. Then spray the solution over the sheet.

After 10 days, the procedure must be repeated. Boric acid in the form of a powder stimulates the appearance and development of ovaries in zucchini, increases plant immunity and prevents rotting.
