Much better water quality is found at a depth of 20 m. It is not possible to make a well in every place. There are aquifers deeper than 20-40 meters. You cannot use it without a license for your own needs.

What about artesian water? To what depth and is a license needed?

Artesian water is always under pressure and can be located at a depth of 100 m. This water is the tastiest, purest and healthiest. But the drilling process is costly and complicated. Service life up to 50 years, subject to constant use.

A less costly method of extracting artesian water is considered to be using a small-sized drilling rig.

First, the depth of the artesian well is determined, then the drilling process itself, washing the string. Then the water is pumped until it becomes clear. Next, the equipment is installed. For an artesian well, deep or submersible pumps are used.

The new law came into force since January 2020. It talks about the compulsory licensing of artesian wells. This is especially true for gardening and horticultural associations that supply plots with water. The same law applies to individuals. The essence of the law is that if a person uses the subsoil that serves as the national property, then he must pay a certain amount (tax) to the budget.

They apply for a license to the MFC or natural resources organization. The document is issued for 25 years. For paperwork, you will have to pay not a small amount - from 200-500 thousand. rub. Pay again after 25 years.

Even if you are not a member of a partnership, you will have to pay for water if you use it. Those who violate the law will be fined up to one million rubles. For citizens up to 5 thousand R. Soon you will have to pay for the air.
