Rainbow eucalyptus

This is a rather rare variety of eucalyptus and in scientific terminology the breed is called - Deglupta. Such trees can be found in the Philippines and Indonesia, but in these countries they are protected by law, and even for minor damage to this plant, you can get a real term. Locals consider it sacred, since various spirits and deities live in it, who watch over nature and protect it.

This color in the tree appears due to the peculiarities of the renewal of the bark. Eucalyptus sheds the old bark in long shreds and the fresh spots under the bark are bright green. As new bark grows, this place gradually changes color, turns red and gradually turns into blue shades. Then the blue patches dry up again and shed, exposing the green patches. This is how an interesting color turns out.

Crooked forest

This is a fairly well-known place and it is located in the Polish town of Gryfino. The locals simply called it - crooked forest. About this forest became known back in 1930 and then the locals considered it a mystical place. In 2008, this forest attracted the attention of scientists and after a short research it turned out that there was nothing mystical there.

At a shallow depth under the forest, there is a vein of one of the local deposits of iron ore, which causes magnetic anomalies and trees react to it accordingly. This works on the principle of a manhole, which is searched for water on the site.

Dracaena Dragon

She is Dracaena Milenario or according to the scientific El Drago Milenario. Such miracles are growing in the Canary Islands. The peculiarity of this plant is its growth. A ground tree has one stem and grows for 10-15 years, after which its upward growth stops and the crown begins to grow along with the thickening of the stem. In the photo is Dracaena, which, according to rough estimates, is 360-370 years old.

Dracaena Dragon is called because when cut, it begins to release a red resin, which has healing and healing properties. Locals call this resin - "Dragon's blood".

La Sabina

This tree has its own name, its name is La Sabbina and it also grows in the Canary Islands. It belongs to the genus of juniper and its height is more than 20 meters. Nothing such a bush))) The tree grows on a high mountain, where the wind constantly blows in one direction, which is why it has such a shape. The approximate age of this bush is about 400 years.

Tunnel tree

This is a sequoia, which at the moment would be about 2500 years old and it stood in Yosemite National Park. In ancient times, the builders of the road decided not to bother and cut a tunnel right through the tree, it was easier and faster. But the tree survived and continued to grow.

Locals call this tree, "Vavona tree", which means the cry of an owl. In 1969, the tree fell due to heavy snow accumulation on its crown. It's a pity of course (((.

The tree of Life

It is a maskite tree that is located in Bahrain. The tree became a gathering place for tourists and it was called the "Tree of Life" because it grows in the desert, where for many kilometers around there is not a single bush, and even more so a source of water. Where it gets moisture from and how it survives is a mystery.

Ponderosa Pine

Scientifically, this tree is called Pinus Ponderosa, that is, it is a pine, but not quite ordinary) These pines differ in that they grow exclusively on mountain slopes and can reach heights of up to 150 meters. They are the largest members of the species and can live up to 600 years, but they are actively being cut down in the United States.

Axel Erlandson trees

Axel Erlandson is an artist, but calls himself an ordinary farmer. You've probably heard of such a landmark as the "Circus of Trees", where Axel exhibited over 50 different statues. He has been addicted to this nonsense since 1947 and today there are already many employees in his park who continue his creative craft.

Baobab Adansonia

This is the most common baobab))) Yes, you are used to seeing such trees in pictures with tall, slender and thick trunks and a shallow crown at the top. And this one looks like a pear. But this is normal and all baobabs become like this from time to time. Do you know why?

Because these trees are porous, they are like a sponge. During seasonal rains, they absorb as much moisture as possible to survive the long dry season. So, this is an ordinary baobab, only it contains several tens of tons of water and he will use it during a drought. And by the end, he will again become slim and beautiful, as you are used to seeing him. Like this)))

Wavy roots

It is a tree with flat and wavy roots, such as are often found in rainforests. The most interesting thing is that such roots have different types of trees and this anomaly is the acquired ability to adapt to the environment.

Initially, trees have normal roots, but as the tree grows, the roots begin to elongate, as in the seasons of heavy rains, the soil becomes too soft and is heavily washed out. In order to maintain balance and resist floods, trees have learned to grow such roots for themselves and feel confident.

So, even trees are able to learn and adapt, they are able to change themselves for the sake of survival.
