We bought a small size after an elderly woman - the kitchen had to be overhauled
The young family, in order not to get into a large loan, decided to buy a small apartment in the "secondary housing". But often, buying living space in the old fund in the hope of saving money, people have to spend even more on repairs.
Indeed, very often apartments in such houses are sold after old people in a state of disrepair.
So our heroes got the apartment far from the best. The kitchen was in such a state that it not only looked old, cluttered, but also very uncomfortable for a family with a small child.
The new tenants decided to start the renovation from this very room, since this is where the hostess has to spend a lot of time.
The budget was limited, so everything was done sparingly.
The kitchen area is only 5 m2, but the residents managed to make everything as comfortable as possible for themselves. Young people decided not to focus on fashionable interior trends and did everything the way they liked.
They took two colors as a basis - gray and bright green. Tiles with a geometric pattern in gray tones were laid on the floor. Wallpaper with floral ornaments was glued to the walls.
The kitchen set was made to order in a juicy green color. This shade makes a small space very lively.
The apron was lined with budget white tiles. The worktop is dark gray stone-like. A small round sink was placed in the corner. The hob was chosen with three burners to save space.
They decided to abandon the oven for now, choosing instead a mini-oven that fits right on the countertop.
A large steel-colored two-compartment refrigerator is organically located at the edge of the window.
A small dining table and chairs with green accents were specially chosen to match the color of the headset. The window was curtained with a light transparent tulle, which also has floral motifs to match the wallpaper.
The hallway was also refurbished, with the door, floor, lighting and wallpaper on the walls changed.
A small kitchen turned out to be quite convenient for a small family. As for the interior - it is, of course, not for everybody.
Many will say that this kind of kitchen design looks outdated, old-fashioned. But the tenants really like it, and they are quite happy with the result. After all, they made repairs for themselves.
