2 wiring tools. Is it worth buying cheap

Soon I have to "throw" the wiring, I decided to buy the most budgetary tool for removing insulation. The choice was made on two copies, I bought them together, checked them, now I will express my opinion.

Stripping pliers

I pinned my greatest hopes on them, as they looked impressive, although I initially did not like the angle of their work, and the position in which the hand will be.

I thought configure them to remove external (first) insulation, but they failed the task, even with the best effort. But after removing the first layer with a knife and nippers, they coped well with the insulation on the veins.

Second tool

So it was called - "Device for automatic cable stripping." It looks flimsy, but what I wanted for 135 rubles. External insulation was too tough for him.

And here I removed the insulation on the wire easily, and indeed automatically, it was enough to bring the wire and squeeze the handles. The jaws of the tool clamped the wire, and two knives simultaneously removed the insulation from both sides, and then returned to their original position with a characteristic click.

If you are doing electrical installation from time to time, then this tool is just what you need.

I do not know how long it will last, but the thought came to me that instead of ticks, I could take two such devices. Most likely, I will buy the second one, since it was the last one left in the store.
