Poles are very open and hospitable people. And it is precisely on the basis of such qualities that they form their own way of life. Before we get inside, let's pay attention to the courtyard. This is a well-tended garden or a neatly mowed lawn. The fence is usually low and allows passers-by to admire the yard.

Here you will not find high fences made of metal profiles or tightly knocked down boards. The courtyards look especially beautiful on holidays (Christmas, Easter, Independence Day, etc.). The houses themselves often have two or even three floors. The first floor can be given over to your own private business (notary's office, veterinarian's office, etc.). But the living quarters are equipped taking into account personal interests, as well as financial capabilities.

But even with all the diversity, a number of common features can be traced. The kitchen usually serves only as a place for cooking. Poles prefer to dine in the dining room, and if it is absent, in the dining room. In any case, this is a spacious room that can accommodate not only the host's family, but also guests who are always welcome.

Most of the houses have balconies. In almost every case, this is a place for a secluded outdoor recreation. You will not find glazed balconies, not only in private houses, but also in apartments. But often there is a cozy armchair, and the florists have a balcony filled with various plants.

The bedroom is a personal space, it is arranged taking into account hobbies, as well as age. For adults, it can be shelves with books, collectibles, children often have their own TV and game console in the room.

The oldest member of the family may have a corner with religious accessories in the bedroom, where, in addition to prayer books and biographies of saints, there are several rosary, and the image of John Paul II - Pope, who is very revered in Poland. Several bedrooms are usually not ennobled - they only have the necessary furniture (bed, chair, cabinet). These are rooms for guests who stay overnight or for several days.

As you can see, Poles prefer rather large houses, but it is difficult to call them empty and lifeless. Rest, home hobbies, as well as receiving guests are the main components of home life.
