Cover for an external battery from a pet bottle. Nobody has that
I bought a power bank for the camera, sometimes I have to put it where I have to, which can damage the appearance, I decided to make a case. I have already worked out a way to make it from a pet bottle, which is easy to repeat.
Manufacturing
There were four bars from the last time, I decided to use them, but here you could use only two bars.
I put two knitting needles between the bars to increase the width, this is very important, and I fix it with clamps for convenience.
I glue the blank with tape to fix it. I try on a bottle in length, at first glance, it looks like, but the plastic will shrink, I take a two-liter one.
I cut off the neck, insert the blank inside, and blow it with a hairdryer.
The plastic "shrinks" tightly, you need to pull out the needles, then the width of the workpiece decreases, and it can be easily removed.
I repeat this with a section of the second bottle, since I need to make the bottom and lid for the case.
I cut the resulting shape into two parts, I apply one from the top to the bottom of the case, fasten it with a soldering iron, using the point method, fusion the two sides of the plastic.
It turned out to be the bottom, now I put in the battery, mark the cover, cut off the excess and fasten it in the same way.
The lid is ready, I decided to make holes in it for the connectors, it could be carefully cut out, but I melted it with a soldering iron.
Everything worked out, there is even a place for a cable in the case.
By the way, I used this method of fastening with a soldering iron for the first time, I used to make holes for them, and stitch it with a fishing line, if I don't hold it, I'll return to this method.
