Folk architecture does not recognize restrictions: sometimes the most unusual building materials and structures are used to build houses. Let's imagine for a moment - what kind of appearance our cities will acquire if there are no building codes and regulations, as well as architectural requirements? See five atypical materials that have been used to build housing and other structures.

Tires

A very important issue is on the agenda of the governments of all civilized countries - waste disposal. A particular headache is caused by automobile tires - their processing is costly, and in the soil they practically do not decompose. But some craftsmen have adapted them as wall material. It looks extremely ugly, but, undoubtedly, such walls will stand for a long time - except for a fire, they are not in danger.

Glass bottles

Bottles need to be made rectangular - in the shape of a brick, so that the benefits from them become twice as large: both drinks can be stored and a house can be built. But even round bottles and over-consumption of masonry mortar do not stop folk architects: houses from this slightly drunken material still appear. By the way, it is cozy inside the glass buildings!

Plastic bottles

This is also a popular material for people with arms growing from where they need it. PET is used for making swimming aids, furniture, cutting a thread for weaving heavy-duty ropes - there are many areas of application for one and a half ropes. But to erect buildings with plastic walls is really surprising.

Earth bags

This method is not new - the military uses bags filled with earth or sand to protect positions and build firing points. And also bags of soil are very good for organizing temporary dams and protection from flooding. But since ancient times, something has changed - the bags have become plastic, which several times extended their durability. This factor was not ignored by thrifty builders: a bag densely packed with soil or adobe is an excellent material for walls. A plastic bag is especially beneficial in remote areas, where delivering a block, brick or log is an unsolvable task.

Containers

Any large iron box is ready-made floors, walls and a roof over your head. It remains only to think: how to insulate everything; insert windows and doors; supply light and heating. The containers can grow as sections upward and sides, while increasing the usable area of ​​the house.

All this, of course, is great, but it is categorically impossible to allow such types of construction in cities and towns. Imagine how our streets will look if all these materials are allowed in private housing construction.
