I am a categorical opponent of aerated concrete houses
When I was building my house a few years ago, I was originally a "fan" of aerated concrete. Nice, technological. But just in case, I calculated the cost of all the options - aerated block, ceramic block, brick - taking into account the norms for insulation and all associated costs during construction.
Surprisingly, the cheapest round came out a wall of double hollow ceramic bricks, 1.5 bricks thick + 100mm insulation + plaster facade. And the gas block is the most expensive, although the difference is small.
I chose a brick and was happy with this decision 100 times. The most important thing is that massive heat-absorbing walls keep warm in winter and cool in summer. The air conditioner is turned on 2-3 days a year, and that is more because it is there.
Bonus - normal solid wallswhich do not crack after a year, which cannot be poked through with a screwdriver, and which hold anchors without expensive chemical anchors worth half a meter of wall each.
I am against houses made of aerated concrete, this is a controversial material with its pros and cons. In multi-storey construction, it certainly took root well due to its low weight. But if you build yourself, you need to count and weigh smartly.
