How to install a plinth if pipes or something else is in the way

When there are even walls in the room, there are no pipes or they are well hidden, install skirting boards pure pleasure. But it happens that some ledge or irregular curvature and because of one such squiggle, it takes many times more time to install the skirting board. And, now, recently on one object several inconvenient places were drawn at once, with which it took a long time to "negotiate".

We are talking about installing plastic skirting boards - the most popular, perhaps, in recent years, so I think most of you clearly understand what the conversation is about.

At the corner of the wall and slope of the balcony door shown on picture 2, at first it was necessary to completely abandon the installation of the plinth on one side of the slope, since then the door cannot be opened, and more undercut the pipe. The pipe, as you can see, comes out of the wall very low. Cutting the plinth in this place and then fixing it in pieces is the worst thing that you can think of, since this place is always in sight.

Do not look at the dumped corner, it will then be repaired.

On photo 3 the same section is shown, only from a different angle, so that you can see what everyone who enters the room notices at the corner of the slope. If you look closely, you can hardly see that there, to the left, there is another undercut on the baseboard for fastening the pipe.

Elsewhere in the room on one site, it became necessary to cut the plinth immediately into three points. First it was necessary to mutilate the connecting plinth inner cornerso that it fits under the pipe coming out of the wall.

After such a "mockery", you still have to try to set the corner stub as it should, since the antennae on the corner that provide fastening of the plinth remained only from below. In such cases, the corners can simply glue to plinth quick-drying glue.

Still to come cut the plinth to the shape of the pipe and lead the cut edge into the cut corner. And lastly, on a different plinth, it took make a cutout for pipe fasteners and then, too, bring the plinth into a tiny corner.

It is not easy to make such cuts, because usually the accessories are bought at the expense and there is nothing to replace the damaged parts, and you don't want to return from one corner again. So, sometimes you have to do everything very slowly. In this place alone, I had to spend about an hour.
