Houses, sheds and garages near power lines may be subject to relocation: power engineers are outraged by the violation of prohibitions
People often perceive the ban on construction in security zones of overhead lines as a recommendation, and not #law - this is the opinion of experts from a large energy company. In their opinion, the most common violations in the security zones of overhead lines (overhead lines) are the construction of summer cottages, houses, garages and other outbuildings in unacceptable proximity to power grid facilities. Often, hay, building materials, agricultural machinery are stored near transformer substations or under wires, which is fraught with fires and emergency power outages.
Law
There is a decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, with which power engineers strongly recommend that those who decide to build a house or other structure in the security zone of the overhead line get acquainted with it. Any activity on this territory is conducted according to certain rules.
What is an overhead line security zone
This is the name of the territory located on both sides of power lines (power lines). It can be a land plot or a body of water, which also includes an air "part" above the zone itself. The area depends on the voltage. Up to 20 kV - 10 meters. In certain cases, also at voltages up to 20 kV - 5 meters (on both sides of the line from the extreme wires), if the wires are self-supporting or insulated, located within the boundaries of the settlement. If up to 110 kV, then 20 meters.
What not to do
For example, the construction or demolition of a building in an overhead line area must be agreed with the energy company in writing. This also applies to planting trees and shrubs. It is forbidden to locate dumps and storages, arrange cattle pens, make a fire, perform work with percussion mechanisms, drain combustible materials, hold meetings, launch drones (all aircraft, including air snake). The vehicle with a total height of more than 4.5 meters from the road is also not allowed.
Employees of energy companies conduct regular raids, and as a result, some owners receive orders to remove the building.
What violations of the rules can lead to
Power engineers believe that the lesser problem here is the loss of money invested in an economic or residential building. Indeed, after the order of the authorities, the building will have to be moved (in case of refusal, the case will continue in court). An emergency shutdown is possible if a person decides to dig a pit. Other consequences are much more unpleasant - especially with a fatal outcome. It happens that people die. For example, this may be the end of an attempt to drive a large-sized vehicle under the overhead line.
