How I dealt with rusty stains on a windowsill with kerosene
Hello everyone! I spied this life hack from my brother, once in the garage he was cleaning parts from a lawn mower, which, during a long idle period, became covered with a rusty layer. And then I decided to ask him if this tool will help in removing rusty stains from the windowsill, he said that you can try. And just a couple of hours later, I took the kerosene from him and went to clean the window.
To do this, I needed: kerosene, several cotton pads, dish detergent, any bottle with a spray.
Kerosene literally needs 3 tablespoons, and 1-2 tablespoons of detergent, depending on the severity of the whole problem.
Cotton pads will be needed for greater efficiency since the sprayed agent to the place of contamination evaporates quickly, and the cotton pads will absorb all the liquid, which will give the effect soaking. To do this, you just need to spray the solution on the rusty spot and put a couple of cotton pads on it.
And so, to prepare a super tool, you need to pour the right amount of detergent and kerosene into a spray bottle in a spray bottle. Then shake well and simply spray on the problem area on the plastic.
Wait literally 20-30 minutes and you can safely wash the surface without rusty spots.
I want to say that I tried this tool on many things, not only on plastic surfaces, and in all cases the solution coped with the task. I am glad that I finally managed to remove the terrible rust stains from the surface of the windowsill.
