How to clean the joints between bathroom tiles if time is limited

It is no secret that due to the constant use of cosmetics and high humidity in the bathroom, plaque forms on the walls. And if it is not difficult to wipe the tile, then it is much more difficult to remove plaque at the seams between it, because, when it reacts with plaster grout, it forms unaesthetic yellow stains.

Both on the Internet and in the arsenal of every housewife there are many ways to whiten yellowed seams, but most of them take a lot of time. What to do if you need to clean up the bathroom urgently, for example, before the arrival of guests?

There is an unusual, but proven method, for the implementation of which you will need a steam generator or an iron with steam ironing function and a liter of water:
1. We prepare the steam generator for operation: fill in water, turn on the device, wait for it to heat up.

2. I used a pistol-style nozzle as it produces a powerful, directional jet of steam, but you can use any nozzle you're used to.

3. We direct the flow of steam to the place of pollution, hold the gun at an angle to the wall at a distance of 1-2 cm.

The result is visible almost immediately, the steam quickly copes with the task.
4. Wipe the seam with a sponge or cloth.

5. The result does not take long, and the joints between the tiles become noticeably whiter, especially in comparison with the first photo.

If desired, the procedure can be repeated again.
If you don't have a steam generator at your disposal, a simple iron can help. It is necessary to fill it with a sufficient amount of water and turn on the steaming function. The result will be just as good, the steam will do an excellent job of removing dirt, and the heat treatment will prevent the formation of mold and the growth of bacteria.
