"Why a sharpening machine" - I bought one circle. "I have a drill." Surprised a neighbor

Drills have accumulated, which would not hurt to sharpen humanly, enough to edit them on the grinder. Better for this is a sharpening machine, but for now I decided to save money.

I bought a grinding wheel (300 rubles), I think I will adapt the order to the drill. I already have a bed where a drill is attached, I assembled a wood turning machine on it, even a mini-circular, and even little things, it's convenient.

The main problem was in attaching the circle to the hairpin, I decided to carve a cylindrical insert using a drill, and a flap circle on an angle grinder.

Fit the cylinder to the inner diameter, you can fix it.

On each side I locked two nuts, and clamped the sharpener through the washers.

I checked the sharpened drills on a pin made of reinforcement, which holds the tiled border, drills where they will go.

Neighbor and savings

He worked in the courtyard of the house, which always entertains neighbors and passers-by. When he had already removed the drill from the bed, a neighbor came up:
- What are you inventing again?
- I made a sharpening machine. - I say.
Was surprised:
- How? - I had to explain
- Yes, take it to the engine, and that's it.
- So you have an engine that you want to give me?
He, surprised - no, he says that's the same.

And as for the savings, the cheapest machine that I found costs 1787 rubles.
