State duty for registration of a summer cottage will be canceled

To motivate citizens to register garden houses, the authorities want to exempt people from paying the state tax. The bill has been developed and submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

Why is the state duty canceled?

The dacha amnesty was launched back in 2006. The program allows you to register a plot of land and buildings according to a simplified scheme - with a minimum package of documents. For this, it is enough papers confirming the ownership and technical plan. Over the past 13 years, more than 13 million garden plots, houses and other structures have been registered. If the structure is recognized as unauthorized construction (unauthorized construction), then the building is subject to demolition.

However, according to the authorities, not all citizens managed to use the program. Therefore, last year the bill was extended until March 1, 2021. However, for those who received land plots before October 30, 2001, the dacha amnesty is considered indefinite.

In addition to documents for the construction and technical plan, the applicant must pay a fee - for state registration of property rights. The amount is 350 rubles (if only a plot, and when a house, then another 350 rubles). But officials believe that the abolition of this state duty will help push citizens to register their country property. The Russian government has already developed and submitted a corresponding bill to the State Duma.

Who will benefit from the new bill?

The amnesty, as noted by politicians, is also aimed at owners of suburban real estate who received it before registration of land in the USRN became mandatory. And now citizens can contact Rosreestr at will. And in order to speed up this process, the Cabinet of Ministers proposes to relieve people who decided to register their land plots from paying this tax.
