Why is an electric mini-boiler room suitable for people who want to live in comfortable conditions in winter?
Cold, cold - it doesn't matter
Living in a climate in which January thermometer readings have to be viewed through a layer of frost, and making sure that in once again the temperature outside has dropped below 35 degrees below zero, inevitably you will think about a reliable source heat. These thoughts did not pass me by either.
Having a small house of 40 sq. meters, I decided that an electric boiler would be the optimal device for heating it. Naturally, before making the final choice, I turned to the Internet, the reviews of their owners.
As a result, I stopped at Zota 6 MK.
What's in the box?
The main criterion for choosing a device for heating a house, of course, was its power. All the sources I have studied recommended for a room with a standard heat loss and central Russia 1.2 kW per 10 square meters of area. Since I was not going to disassemble the stove, I left it as an emergency option, so I decided to purchase a boiler with a capacity of 6 kW. I thought that in January, if necessary, you can additionally warm up in the old fashioned way - with firewood.
Not unimportant was the compactness of the product. In a mini-boiler room, all elements (water heater, pump, expansion tank, control unit) are placed in a single housing, due to which it takes up relatively little space.
The next requirement is functionality, ease of management. In this regard, the mini-boiler room Zota has everything at its best. The boiler has a wide range of programs. The main menu allows you to configure it to heat the room temperature to a certain level, after which it automatically turns off. After the temperature drops to the configured parameters, it turns on again without your participation. In the same menu, you can set the power of the mini-boiler room in increments of 2 kW. (2-4-6), the desired temperature of the heating medium (up to 90 degrees Celsius), the thermostat operating mode (weekday, weekend, mixed, or the thermostat is off). The latter function allows you to configure the device to save energy. For example, in the "Working day" mode, the economy mode is set, for example, from 9.00 to 17.00 and from 23.00 to 6.00. At this time, the mini-boiler room will not work at full capacity, maintaining the temperature below the comfortable one by several degrees. Its value is programmed in the additional menu.
In addition, it is possible to adjust the accuracy of maintaining the temperature of the water and the heat carrier, as well as the pump operation time after turning off the heating elements.
The built-in circulation pump can be set to three flow rates of the heating medium.

When installing the GSM module, the mini-boiler room can be controlled from a mobile phone.
For me, it was important that Zota 6 can be connected to both a two-phase and a three-phase network (at that moment there was a 220 W network in the house.).
I use distilled water as a heat carrier, which eliminates scale formation and clogging of radiators.
Was the game worth the candle?
Do not forget that there is a preferential tariff for residents who use electrical appliances to heat their homes. It is 30 percent lower. You can also connect to the "day-night" tariff. In financial terms, the heating of my home remained practically unchanged, but the comfort of living in winter increased significantly.
After three years of operation, I can say that the boiler room completely suits me, it copes with its function.
The only drawback I see is that in early autumn and late spring the device does not give out full power, it works in a third of the possible, maintaining the temperature of the coolant in the region of 45-50 degrees Celsius, working throughout day.
