Like many lovers of violets, I was faced with the fact that my favorite flower began to grow poorly and wither. It was very upsetting, because I looked after him every day, but this did not work for him.

To understand the reasons for this situation, I read a lot of useful information on the Internet and started experimenting. The result was not long in coming.

Now instead of frail buds - a fluffy hat of bright colors! And I'm happy to share these tips with readers.

Despite the fact that the violet is considered a capricious plant, you can still make friends with it. The main thing is to follow certain watering rules, and then this amazing flower will delight you with its lush flowering every year.

Errors that cause the plant to wilt

1. Water over the leaves

Due to the ingress of water on the surface of the leaves and in the center of the rosette, the flower begins to rot. To prevent this from happening, you need to properly moisturize the plant.

There are several ways:

- take a large container of water at room temperature and immerse the flower pot in it for a few minutes;

- using a watering can, fill the tray from different sides, as soon as the soil darkens, drain the remaining water.

2. Water late at night

The plant cannot be watered in the evening. Strongly moist soil damages the violet root system. After all, in the evening, the air in the room is colder, and the roots of the flower begin to absorb less moisture.

In the cold season, the soil needs to be irrigated only during the day, and in the spring and summer - in the morning.

3. Drizzle with cold water

Water your favorite flower only with warm water. Ice water damages the plant. As a result, the violet dies.

4. Sprinkle with tap water

To water the flower, you need to use filtered water. Or let the liquid settle. There are many salts in the tap water that are harmful to violets, so it is not suitable.

The most ideal option is melt water from natural sources. As for boiled water, it can be used, but only in rare cases.

5. Water every day

Of course, you need to water the violet, but not every day. In winter, the flower is irrigated 3 times a week, in summer - once every two days.

Due to excessive attention and infinite control, the flower begins to die. Everything should be in moderation.

It is necessary to let the violet develop independently, not forgetting about feeding to stimulate growth, moderate watering and preventive treatment from pests.
