Have you forgotten about them? 6 places in the house that most often remain dirty after cleaning
Are you sure that your apartment is absolutely clean after putting things in order? Then, unfortunately, I will most likely have to upset you. The house has a dozen places that have not been cleaned for years! Alas, this is a fact!
Good afternoon dear friends!
When cleaning, most people try to "lick" surfaces such as floors, walls, furniture fronts, windows and doors. But they completely lose sight of the places “hidden” from the eyes. Kind of like "dirt is not visible, so it is not there." This approach is fundamentally wrong, and not safe! Indeed, the dust can hide dangerous microorganisms that can cause extremely unpleasant diseases.
And so that you during the next cleaning did not forget about such inconspicuous places, I also prepared this material.
1.Under the bed and behind the furniture. How often do you move large furniture: wardrobe, sofa (bed), kitchenette, etc.? I am sure that rarely, but in vain! Indeed, over time, a huge amount of dust accumulates behind them one way or another. For example, between the backrest and the wall, in the corners, near the far legs, as well as on all kinds of slats and crossbars. Therefore, the next time you do a general cleaning, try to move the heavy furniture and get to these places.
By the way, do not forget to wipe the outside of the bottom of the cabinet, sofa and armchairs. A cobweb can form on them, on which various dirt adheres perfectly.
2.Inside cabinets. Did you know that our clothes constantly pollute the home? Do not wonder! Fabric fibers are one of the main components of house dust. Therefore, all cabinet shelves need wet cleaning.
But don't go to extremes! And wipe them down every week. It is enough 1-2 times a year to completely remove everything from the cabinet and put it in order and cleanliness. In addition, this process will help you part with some of the old unnecessary things.
3.Radiator. In winter, dust especially "likes" to accumulate on hot radiators. Therefore, while the heating season lasts, it is advisable to wipe them once a week with a damp cloth. And as soon as the warm days come, the battery can be thoroughly cleaned inside and out (between the sections, radiator and wall), and then forgotten until next winter.
By the way, when cleaning, you can also use a vacuum cleaner with a narrow nozzle or a brush on a long handle to make it easier to get to the most inaccessible areas of the heater.
4.Ventilation grates. Admit it, have you ever washed the ventilation grilles in the bathroom, kitchen or, for example, filters of household appliances (vacuum cleaner, air conditioner, extractor hood, etc.)? After all, they accumulate a huge amount of dirt, dust, mold, grease ...
If not, take it on board! The grates should be cleaned at least 2 times a year. They must be removed, washed with hot water and soap, dried and returned to their original place. But it is advisable to service filters of household appliances as often as the manufacturer recommends. Otherwise, without timely maintenance, your devices will simply fail.
5.At the top of doors, windows, pictures… Structural elements should be wiped down quite often, about once a week. Especially in the summer, when outdoor dust is added to the usual house dust when airing. Wipe down windows and doors with a slightly damp cloth. And don't forget that their top is the dirtiest place.
With the same frequency, it is worth wiping the frames of paintings, photographs, and mirrors. They also accumulate a lot of dust on themselves.
6.Fridge gum folds. Rubber seals are essential for the normal operation of many electrical appliances, as they serve as protection against dust, dirt, grease, moisture, etc. Therefore, it is so important to properly care for them regularly - 1 time in 1-2 months! Moreover, it is quite simple to clean them. It is only necessary to make a solution of 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water.
And then apply it to the sealing gum of the refrigerator, oven or washing machine. Then it is advisable to wipe the cuffs and folds with an old toothbrush and rinse with a damp sponge. That is, in fact, all the maintenance!
