How to hang a router and other objects on the wall (trick with masking tape + method without drilling)
Everyone needs Internet access today. Router - distributes an Internet signal and allows us to connect to the network wirelessly. You just need to know the password and login. When we moved to another apartment, we had to use the services of connecting to the Internet.
Where to locate the router? As a rule, a good place for this device is a hallway. The fewer the walls, the better the connection. Concrete walls impair the signal. So I decided to attach the router in the living room.
It is good if there is space for wires and an outlet around. Do not install the router near other household appliances (microwave oven, refrigerator, TV, etc.). Do not put the router on a battery or other heating objects (this will lead to damage).
The process itself
In order to attach the router to the wall you will need:
- Masking tape,
- Pencil or pen
- Drill, fasteners.
So, turn the device over. Cut off a piece of masking tape to the width of the router. We glue this piece so as to capture the holes for the fasteners.
Draw with a pencil where the holes for the fasteners are. Now they are clearly visible:
We tear off the tape and apply it to the wall along the level. Do not be afraid, the masking tape will not stick to the wallpaper very much and it will be easy to remove it without leaving marks.
Now we drill the holes directly along the masking tape. And then we fasten the fasteners (in my case - screws). We remove the strip of tape.
Then we hang up the router. It turns out perfectly smooth!
How to hang a router or other object on the wall without drilling?
Can be wall-mounted without drilling. On sale there are special fasteners for frames, paintings and more. You can hang any device on them. There are clasps that can hold 1 kg, and there are those that can hold 4-5 kg.
I saw in Leroy Merlin such a useful thing for the house.
