How to prepare tomatoes for the winter: the best recipe from FORUMHOUSE participants

Because humanity has not yet come up with another such simple way to preserve tomatoes until the new harvest.

Achuchuk - what is it?

Achuchuk is a tomato harvest that takes up more and more space in the basement every year. As it usually happens: a person learns the recipe for achuchuk and makes five cans, try it; the next year he rolls up 20 cans, and then all 50!

It's very simple and it's a real masterpiece! The result is tomatoes that look like boiled ones, but they taste like fresh. In winter, acuchuk is eaten just like that, eaten with herbs and onions, added to scrambled eggs, pizza, and wherever!

How to cook

Cut into pieces in a saucepan, put on low heat. The tomatoes will let the juice go - we increase the fire. Bring to a boil, boil for two minutes - no more! Then we turn it off, pour it into sterile jars, roll it up with sterile lids.

That's all - try it, and you will definitely stop buying these creepy "plastic" tomatoes in stores in winter. Plus - this method saves space in the "non-rubber" freezer. The only thing: tomatoes for achuchuk should be taken not juicy, but fleshy, “cream” is ideal.
