Boil me completely: what features did I pay attention to when choosing an electric kettle
It's hard to imagine a modern kitchen, office or workshop without an electric kettle. It is used for making tea or coffee, making fast food packages with noodles, soup or mashed potatoes. Frequent use of an unreliable model can lead to breakdown, which is why it is so important to know what to look for when choosing.
Types of electric kettles
When choosing teapots for the home, many first of all pay attention to the appearance, but the quality of kitchen utensils is equally important. To understand how these two characteristics are related, I turned to specialists:
· Plastic case. Such models have a number of advantages - they are cheaper, have a wide range of colors, and the body remains non-hot when the water is heated. Of the minuses - there is a possibility of the release of harmful substances into the air by plastic (seen in cheap models) and over time, the plastic loses its original appearance (scuffs and scratches appear, rubbed off gloss).
· The ceramic body became popular only a few years ago. Elegant appearance and scratch resistance allowed such models to conquer their niche in the market. But some buyers are confused by the weight and duration of heating. Moreover, such models are more fragile.
· The glass body attracts with its appearance and the ability to look at the boiling process. But such a kettle is also fragile and expensive.
· Stainless steel case is in high demand. Such models are inexpensive, withstand falls steadily, are little susceptible to mechanical damage, and modern technologies allow you to beat the appearance in accordance with the requests of buyers. One of the disadvantages is the strong heating of the case and noise during use.
Kettle Bosch TWK 7902/02
I purchased the Bosch TWK 7902/02 a couple of years ago. The model is comfortable - a plastic handle and a lining under it on the body prevents burns, there is a filling scale. Water boils in minutes, and a filter at the spout prevents limescale from entering the cup.
