We live in the apartment as a female team. Therefore, going to make repairs in the bathroom, the idea arose to decorate the room in light, pink colors. We took pale pink and white shades as the basis for the color. We purchased the tile in a large size, white, with pink stains. The advantage of light-colored tiles is that drops of water are absolutely invisible on it, and when taking a shower, you don't have to worry that the splashes will be visible. We bought the tile in two shades, lighter and darker, but the pattern on it is the same. We put whitish on the top of the wall, and pink on the bottom.
In order to visually divide the color scheme, a tile frieze was laid to match the color.
We also laid the bathtub with tiles, leaving a small niche for household chemicals.
A plastic molding was placed between the walls and the bathroom and painted with white water-repellent paint.
And the bath itself was also highlighted with a frieze.
In addition to the indoor bathtub, we put a sink - a white tulip.
There is one mixer for the bath and sink. If necessary, we turn the crane in the right direction. For aesthetics, we put decorative caps on the nuts that screw the mixer itself to the wall.
It was decided to make the ceiling stretch, matt white.
From the lighting, we installed two spotlights - soffits. For convenience, we installed one above the bathroom, the other above the sink.
Now, closing the curtain while swimming, it is comfortable and light for everyone.
As for the floor, the same tiles were laid on it as on the walls.
It looks harmonious, but not practical, the tiles are glossy, smooth. Therefore, the floor is very slippery. We made it warm by connecting it to the centralized heating pipes. And, in winter, the bathroom is always warm.
The heated towel rail was installed in a plastic, in the form of a coil.
It is more reliable, does not rust, does not leak. Its practicality also lies in the fact that it does not need to be painted.
