A piece of Scandinavia in Siberia or a lonely carcass in a potato field Photo review
Home is such a dream that lifts one over the circumstances, like a balloon. And everything becomes possible if you just follow her honestly. Participants FORUMHOUSE prove this with enviable regularity.
How it all started
Evgeny and Anna, a very young family from a city in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, rented a small apartment for a long time. Several years ago, they took 13.5 acres from the regional administration "in an open field", on the site of the former runway, and then a potato field.
"We lit up the house so that there was a view from the window and there were no bad neighbors behind the wall." With an ordinary provincial salary, you will not accelerate much, but there was a goal! In addition, Eugene graduated from a construction college.
For several years, the guys simply planted potatoes in the field - there was no money for the construction. Over the years, Eugene collapsed one small business and he started a second; even wanted to sell the land, but could not give up the dream of a house.
He literally lived all the time on our forum. Collected information on the topic of frame houses, and now thanks all members of the forum for the endless patience with which they answered his "banal questions." There was also a trip to Scandinavia, after which the desire to build a skeleton frame only intensified.
Construction
They were able to start construction only five years after the foundation was poured. Even then, it was clear what the house should be like: a practical and inexpensive frame, close to energy efficient, on the 1st floor, a kitchen-living room, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a boiler room. So they built it.
Design features of the house
The project was ordered by a professional architect. And here's some background information.
- Foundation MZLF (shallow strip foundation).
- Roof - metal.
- Heating - electric boiler and underfloor heating.
- Ventilation with a recuperator (the house is always fresh and there is no condensation).
The only thing that Eugene would change in the house now is made panoramic glazing towards the exit to the terrace.
Now the family has already moved to their home and is gradually moving away from life in a tiny apartment. “Thanks to Forumhouse and the countless number of people living here, because the information on the forum turned out to be more useful and relevant than in my college,” writes Eugene.
