Want to improve the growth and flowering of indoor plants

I really love indoor plants. Every time I get myself a new Green Resident, I try to learn as much as possible about caring for him. How often to water, what to feed, so that the plant grows, blooms and feels good.

Imagine my surprise when, after reading the composition of the fertilizer for irrigation, I noticed a similarity with the composition of mineral water, which can be purchased at any grocery store.

I have a question. Is it possible to replace fertilizer with mineral water? Let's try to figure it out together.

Not all houseplants love salt; many may even die. So mineral water should be used wisely, because in fact it is a kind of fertilizer.

I treat each of my plants with an individual approach. So, for example, I water cacti with mineral water, which has settled for at least a day. And of course the water should be free of gases.

But I do not water the collection of orchids with saline at all. These plants don't like salt. Well, it is worth remembering that when watering with mineral water, white bloom appears on the surface of the soil in the pots, which has a very bad effect on the condition of the plant.

To prevent this from happening, I dilute mineral water with plain water and apply this composition as a fertilizer. From my gardening practice, I can give you important tips to help you care for your plants.

1. It is better to buy mineral water without gases. If you have it with gases, then you should open the bottle and let the liquid settle for about 24 hours.

2. Mineral water for a plant is a kind of fertilizer and you should not get carried away with such watering.

3. It is necessary to dilute mineral water with ordinary water in the ratio of 5 liters of pure water and 1 liter of mineral water.

4. Mineral water should be purchased with a low chlorine content. Check the ingredients before buying.

5. Do not forget that you need to water with such a composition once a month.

You should not get carried away with such feeding. Chlorine, which is part of mineral water, can harm indoor plants, and for some species it can be destructive.

Fertilize with mineral water or not, decide for yourself. As in any other business, there are pros and cons.

I love my indoor plants and I know all the nuances of watering and feeding. Once a month I hold a festival by fertilizing some plants with a mineral solution.

I spent a lot of time and effort on reinforcing aerated concrete. Now I realized how it was possible to make everything much easier.
