Hydrogen peroxide and iodine

Let's prepare a solution based on iodine and peroxide. This top dressing was used by my grandmother. These funds are always in the home medicine cabinet. Hydrogen peroxide saturates the soil with oxygen molecules, it becomes more airy. Also protects the crop from pests and root rot, iodine stimulates lush flowering and growth.

For 1 liter of water, 2 drops of iodine and one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide are required. The solution must be mixed and watered over the pre-moistened soil. It is enough to carry out such feeding 2-3 times per season.

Banana peel infusion

It is an effective and cheap fertilizer that is beneficial during flowering as banana peels are high in potassium. This top dressing will require one banana peel, which must be chopped into small pieces. Then you need to fill them with water, wait 2-3 days, and the extract nutrient solution is ready.

Boric acid

Boric acid in powder form will double the growth of new inflorescences. You will need to dilute 0.5 grams in a small amount of hot water in order for the crystals of the substance to dissolve. Then you need to pour the mixture into 1 liter of water at room temperature, stir well and spray with a spray bottle.

Onion peel

Pour 1.5 liters of water into an enamel bowl with water and pour a handful of onion husks. Boil for up to 7-8 minutes and let the mixture cool. Then you need to spray the parts of the plant and water at the root.

Complex fertilizers

Complex fertilizers with microelements for flower crops, for example, Fertika, are also suitable as top dressings.

These feeding will improve the development of plants, increase the number of lush hats.

In addition, for pelargonium, you need to remove yellow and dry leaves, faded flower stalks, examine the plant for pests, water moderately and cut off the shoots in autumn (but not necessarily).

In winter, geranium or pelargonium does not need feeding.
