Is it worth buying bread makers of unknown brands: the result of three months of regular attempts to use
Initially, the Maxima MBM-0319 bread maker was bought with my sister as a birthday present for my grandmother. In the store, the eye was caught by a stylish design, streamlined shape, large letters on board (it was important, a gift for an older woman) and buttons that are easy to understand. According to Maxim's description, he should bake classic bread, rolls, muffins, etc., and the price is pleasant - only 3,500 rubles with a one-year guarantee.
After the first preparation, we and my grandmother, who worked as a baker all her life, remained with mixed feelings.
What did not like:
· The dough has "climbed" over the edge, although the ingredients are added according to the recipe in the book;
· After 3 hours, the middle of the bread remained moist;
· Dough stuck to the glass window, so I had to take out the glass and rinse it.
After 3 hours of anxious waiting, we got a gingerbread, hard on the sides, but damp inside. Naturally, nobody began to eat it. The roll did not even have an appetizing appearance, because the excess dough "crawled" and adhered to the lid, creating a shapeless substance as a result.
In the end, the gift turned out to be not impressive, although the grandmother pretended to be pleased with her. After subsequent preparations, new disadvantages of the "miracle maker" surfaced:
· The "fast baking" mode is inoperative. In 30 minutes, the dough does not have time to bake, and it can be switched on again after 15 minutes. Complete nonsense;
· The "baking" mode was not suitable for homemade muffins, as a result they turned out to be stale with a raw middle;
· The cord is only 90 centimeters, which is not enough for the kitchen.
As a result of three months of regular attempts (stable once or twice a week) to ride the new technology, we have identified several advantages:
· The stove takes up little space in the closet;
· All components are pulled out;
· A roll of 500 grams is enough for two days for one person;
· Does not require additional care;
· The dough can "reach" inside;
· The beaters will knead the dough.
Of course, the best advantage would be "bakes delicious bread", but our family could not get used to this bread maker, so it takes up little space in the closet for almost a year.
My rating: 2/10. One star for the stove design and one star for the build quality and functionality of the parts.
