Why village life is better than city life: reflections from our subscriber

How to move from city to country. Moving stories, what difficulties we had to face. On the pros and cons of suburban life.

When buying a house in the suburbs, of course, we thought through all the nuances and features of life in a private house. The overall picture was taking shape, but it was only after some time that it was possible to sort everything out on the shelves.

Nature

Each season in the village is beautiful in its own way:

· Winter is a magical time of the year. You can watch for hours the snowflakes circling under the lantern. In the city, you can also watch snowfall, but this is a completely different feeling. You can enumerate for a long time: a tree right in the yard, snowballs, a visit to a snowy forest... You can't list everything.

· Spring - everything comes to life. Tulips, lilacs, crocuses are blooming. And despite the fact that field work begins in the spring, the awakening of nature is felt by every cell. Storks arrive and swallows begin to build nests under the roof.

· Summer - a river, a forest, children walk from morning to evening. Dinner in the yard in the evening. But, no one canceled the garden.

· Autumn looks a little sad. After the rain it gets dirty, there are practically no good roads, all the colors fade. But pleasure can be found in the raindrops that knock on rooftops at night.

And in the morning you wake up not to the sounds of passing trams and cars, but to the singing of birds. What could be better?

The medicine

The village has its own dispensary. There are no less qualified doctors working there than in the city.

The advantages of medical care include:

· Lack of queues. Compared with city polyclinics, and even more so during a pandemic, this is very significant. Indeed, in the city, to get to the doctor, you can sit for several hours;

· An individual approach to each patient. There is no influx of people, so the doctor devotes the necessary amount of time to each person.

Education

At first we were a little worried that the school was located two kilometers from home. But, then I came to the conclusion that walks before and after classes only benefit the health of children. And when the weather is bad, you can take the school bus.

The building of a rural school, as well as its internal equipment, is in no way inferior to urban educational institutions.

All teachers know their work very well, conduct the educational process with high quality, and easily make contact with parents. The classes are small, which allows teachers to be attentive to each student.

The shops

There are several shops in the village where you can find all the necessary goods from food to office supplies. Prices are slightly higher than in the city, but there is confidence that they will not be deceived, weighed or sold an expired product, as in city supermarkets.

You can pay both in cash and by credit card.

Transport

If you exclude the car, you can get to the city by shuttle bus in 15 minutes. For comparison: When I lived in the city, it took over an hour to commute to work.

The prices are reasonable, you don't have to wait long for transport. Within the city limits, the fare is much higher.

I like living in the suburbs more than in the city. Beauty, peace and tranquility with all the city services. Perhaps I was just lucky.
