The best folk dressing for Violets, which was also used by our Mothers and Grandmothers
I did not fall in love with violets right away. I have always preferred exotic plants with large, sweeping leaves and large flowers. And violets were considered very simple. But how wrong I was. Once they gave me a violet in a pot. Well, do not throw away the gift. I left the violet with me.
When it started to bloom, I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it blooms. Despite the fact that the plant itself is small, the abundance of flowers simply cannot but rejoice. Then my violet let the baby go, and so I became a lover of violets. Several more varieties of this plant have appeared in my apartment.
But my joy did not last long. Suddenly I began to notice that the violets are not growing as much as I would like. These are the signs that put me on my guard.
Signs of a lack of fertilizer in violets
· Plants look weak, as if they are starting to wilt.
· Some leaves fall off, the leaf plate changes its color abruptly.
· The flowers are getting smaller and the buds are no longer tied.
Of course, having already experience in growing flowers, I realized that something urgently needed to be done to save the violets. I remembered one recipe for feeding, which my mother and grandmother used.
But they didn't use it for violets. And then I began to doubt whether this top dressing would help me. Honestly, I didn't have much time to think. After all, the situation looked critical.
So I decided to experiment. I think, come what may, because feeding has not let my family down before, maybe this time it will help too.
The recipe in our family is called Garlic Water.
How to Prepare Garlic Water
You need to take garlic. If the head is large, then half of the head is sufficient. If the head is small, then all of it is taken. The garlic can be cut into pieces and covered with boiling water. You need to take 60 milliliters of boiling water.
Next, let the solution brew for 30 minutes. It turns out a pretty strong concentrate. It needs to be diluted in a liter of water, and then you can use it to feed violets.
This solution is very easy to prepare. To prepare it, you do not need to go to the store and look for the desired product, every housewife has garlic in stock. But the benefits of the infusion are double.
First, it protects the plant from diseases and pests. And secondly, it helps to nourish it with essential minerals.
My risk was fully justified, this recipe helped me a lot. Therefore, I advise everyone to use it for feeding violets.
