Cadastral scanning launched: 3D technologies were used in Dagestan
An experiment has begun in our country: in the pilot region, in Dagestan, complex cadastral works are now performed using the technology of three-dimensional laser scanning. Measurements will now be accurate and fast.
The prime minister's instructions have been fulfilled
Back in September, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, at a meeting with young Russian scientists, instructed the head of Rosreestr to start working with new equipment. Now it is used to carry out complex cadastral works in Makhachkala, in the Gunibsky, Kazbekovsky, Suleiman-Stalsky districts of Dagestan. For November, it is planned to "scan" eight and a half thousand land plots and five and a half thousand buildings.
Why do we need modernization of the cadastral work?
Previously, the accuracy of measurements and the efficiency of cadastral work often left much to be desired, which led to serious problems.

“The border of the plot with the neighbor is shown as going obliquely, and not parallel to the house. Now, at one corner of the house, I go beyond the distance to the border agreed with my neighbor. The last measurement of the site was carried out in 2001, three pegs were hammered in by the measurers and a plan was drawn up. They did it in an old-fashioned way, theodolite or whatever it was, without any GPRS. Now we have made a modern topography and there are discrepancies, because of which I cannot put the house into operation. "
It is expected that measurements will become accurate, cadastral work will take less time, and specialists will be able to process the obtained data much faster.

"This method will improve the efficiency of complex cadastral work, the accuracy of measurements and reduce labor costs for processing the data obtained."
If the results of the experiment confirm this, cadastral work by the method of three-dimensional laser scanning will be applied throughout Russia.
