We live economically. How to convert Kotanyi disposable mill to reusable?
All housewives, and not only, know perfectly well that it is best to store peppers in an airtight container. The best option is grinders that are tightly closed and do not need to be opened every time to use the spice.
Practicality aside, the spices stored in the mill look beautiful. But the problem is that, for the most part, these mills are disposable.
The Kotanyi pepper mill is no exception. Thus, buying pepper in a beautiful and practical mill, we overpay a huge amount every time, and in our difficult time we really want to save money.
After all, it is much cheaper to buy peas in a bag and then pour it into the mill.
But our hostesses are able to find a way out of any desperate situation. They came up with an easy way to turn a disposable device into a reusable one.
Opening the Katanyi Disposable Mill does not require any extra effort. The whole process will take literally one minute!
What do we need in order to cope with this problem? And again, nothing complicated - a pot of boiling water and a mill.
First of all, put a small saucepan, or a metal mug of water on the stove and bring the liquid to a boil.
Then we lower the empty mill in hot water, but not completely entirely, but only the plastic part in which the seasoning is ground. We carefully take out the mill and easily remove the nozzle by prying it with a knife.
We wipe the jar and attachment with a towel and dry it on the radiator so that the pepper does not get damp and then add new spices. Then carefully close the mill until it clicks.
This way you get a working mill and do not spend a single extra penny. A big plus is the fact that you can match the peppers to your liking!
